The Best Of A Very Sweet Blog 2023

Hey Everybody! Lets CHEER for the 2024 NEW YEAR! I hope everyone is well. As I do every year, I would like to recap some of A Very Sweet Blog's highlights from the previous year.

Brand Collaborations

I collaborated with a number of great brands. I was blessed to collaborate with Lancome for another year (now four straight years in a row). They sent me their lovely Mother's Day Gift Set, NEW 2023 La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu Perfume, and absolutely exquisite 2023 Advent Calendar. It contained so many excellent products, that I've never tried. I'm still trying products from the calendar. Elaina Badro PR reached out to me, and now I have another makeup brush company that I absolutely love. I love her brushes, just as much as my Luxie brushes. I collaborated with a super-fun company called Vampyre Cosmetics. This collaboration was dear to my heart, because they make a King Cake eye shadow palette (New Orleans). It was so much fun :) And Mardi Gras this year is right around the corner (February 13, 2024). Truly Beauty made my day, by including me in on the Barbie phenomenon. I had never tried any products from the brand, so I was tickled BARBIE PINK. Plus I scored a cute Barbie purse. I felt extra special. I've tried TOCCA Cleopatra, but wanted to try some other scents by the brand. Well wish granted, they sent me their NEW for 2023 Collette Body Oil. Merit Beauty, made me fall in love with their NEW for 2023 single eye shadows. I have been using the one they sent me every single day. It is so wearable. GourmetGiftBaskets.com spoils me with treats you guys! I've collaborated with them for several years now. They're so fresh and delicious! They sent me their Mother's Day Brownie & Cookie Box. YUM YUM! If you LOVE HOT CHOCOLATE like I do, click on Creekside Mallow Co. Oh my! I love their hot chocolate and marshmallows. They are so good! Trust me! Also, if you want a really good potato chip, try Humble Potato Chips. Delicious, Organic and Delightful! And finally Mary's Gone Crackers! Favorite Makeup, Skincare and Haircare For 2023

I tried a lot of makeup & skincare products, nutritional hair supplements and hair products last year, but many didn't impress me. Stuff happens! HaHaHa So, let me showcase the products that impressed me. I LOVE LOVE Ouai St. Barts! This was supposed to only be Limited Edition. Now, they have it permanently. Grab a jar for the Spring & Summer. This sold out TWICE! I tried a moisturizer (hydration peptide) from Shani Darden skincare. I use it everyday right before applying my makeup. It feels really great to the skin and makeup lays beautifully over it. I SUPER LOVE The Body Shop Banana Shampoo & Conditioner. If you have super dry hair and are also fighting humidity, give this a try. Another hair saver is Bumble and Bumble's Hairdresser Invisible Hair Oil. Daily! I use this daily on my dry hair. On my mom's hair, I was thoroughly impressed with CHI's 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Hair Spray. My friend from LittleLuxuryList, gifted me my very first Hermes lipstick. Your lips will be spoiled once you try it. Tired of black mascara? Try brown! Too Faced makes a really good Chocolate Brown mascara. I am a Natasha Denona fanatic! I love her eye shadow palettes. She came out with a I Need A Nude Eye Shadow Palette that is really good. For products that didn't work for me, sift month-by-month through last year :(
