But I am REALLY EXCITED to talk to you today about Biosilk Silk Therapy with Natural Coconut Oil Leave-In Treatment for Hair & Skin (Target, JCPenney). ULTA had a Beauty Event, where each day they showcased various beauty products that were literally half-price. This product caught my eye and I started reading the reviews. If there was a bad review, I couldn't find it. I read one glowing review after another. I said, WOW I HAVE TO TRY THIS! So I ordered a medium bottle and let me tell you ... this is a NEW FAVORITE PRODUCT OF MINE! It comes in three (3) sizes: .05 oz, 2.26 oz (bottle shown below) and 5.64 oz. The middle size goes a long way (month - if used daily), but I love this stuff so much, I will definitely get the bigger size the next time. Now, I'm jumping the gun! Let me tell you about this product.
This oil can be used in your hair or on your skin. Let's discuss hair first! I have super dry hair. I've been using Bumble & Bumble Invisible Hairdresser Oil on my hair. I use it everyday. I tried this on my hair and it is MARVELOUS DAHLING! It's a lightweight oil, that is NOT oily, greasy or sticky. You can put it on your hair day or night. I used it at night, tied my hair up and when I woke up, my hair was super soft and manageable all the way through. I'm still wearing my hair back. I need to trim it. But I would wet it in the morning, then apply the Bumble & Bumble and style it. TOGETHER, they are both helping my hair. The Biosilk provides MORE moisture, softness and manageability that my hair needs. SO I LOVE IT. Plus, you don't need much!
Now, how does it feel on the skin? PERFECT! I have dry skin as well. I ran out of lotion, so I said well this will be a great time to try this oil on my skin. IN LOVE! Apply a couple of drops (one section of your body at a time) to your arm and work it in. Same for your legs etc. It doesn't take long for this oil to absorb (very little dry down time). Your skin will feel moisturized, soft and have a nice glow. What's great as well, is it's soft coconut scent. It doesn't smell artificial. It's a nice, clean, fresh scent! Perfect for Spring, Summer or anytime of year (if you ask me).
I purchased this from ULTA. I went to Biosilk's website and guess what guys? They offer this in a shampoo and conditioner. SAY WHAT!?! A whipped mousse! SAY WHAT!?! A travel kit! GET OUTTA HERE!?! And if you want your dog to smell like you, they have a formula for them. HAHAHA Excellent price point. Put this in your shopping cart and give it a go! It is SUPERSWEET! I plan on trying those other products for you as well, so stay tuned this year. Well, except the dog one. No dog! HaHaHa
