Shani Darden Moisture Boost Plumping Serum (Revolve, Sephora). This plumping serum truly plumps your skin. You apply it AFTER you cleanse your skin and apply the essence. Shani Darden's website describes it as "A silky, non-sticky serum powered by snow mushroom and glycerin to effectively attract, retain & replenish moisture for instant and continuous plumping hydration. Unlike other serums that hydrate only temporarily, our high-performance formula floods skin in long-lasting hydration. A breakthrough blend of visibly plumping pentavitin, water-binding snow mushroom and glycerin, moisture-replenishing panthenol, seamlessly melts into skin to reveal plump and bouncy, dewy skin." This serum has:
- Snow Mushroom & Glycerin provide instant moisture and long-term hydration.
- Antioxidant Fruit Complex hydrates, plumps & helps defend against environmental stressors.
- Pentavitin & Red Algae strengthen and help restore the skin barrier to minimize water loss.
- Velvet Flower replenishes with amino acids, minerals & vitamins.
Full Disclosure: This serum applies just like a serum. It feels really good to the skin. I always cleansed my skin, applied the essence and then this plumping serum. It did plump up my skin. The Fresh Beauty Kombucha Essence that I'm currently using plumps up my skin as well. The Shani Darden would be my #2 choice, because the Fresh Beauty Kombucha works as a 2 in 1 (essence and plumper). I would have to buy Shani Darden's Essence and Plumping Serum to achieve the same effect. So, it's not about the quality of the product, but cost for me. Remember in my previous reviews I mentioned if you drop the packaging it would nick. See the pictures below. All are heavy containers, so they have the propensity to nick if dropped. I didn't see a travel size for the Moisture Boost Plumping Serum (but this is a small bottle).
