SunButter Sunflower Seed Butter Review

PR Sample: I have a peanut allergy. I developed a peanut allergy in 2005 (Hurricane Katrina). It was a tumultuous time for me. During that time, I also developed a sun allergy (face/eyes) only. Before 2005, I could eat all the peanuts, peanut butter and pb&j that I wanted. Same thing for the sun! Now, if I don't use sunscreen under my eyes, my eyelids will swell. But neither here or there, I have an allergy to these things.

Well I thank heaven for the lovely people at SunButter. They have developed a butter made out of sunflower seeds, that mimics peanut butter. "In 2003, SunButter® partnered with the USDA to develop the first-ever sunflower seed spread. We created it as a nut-free alternative to serve in schools to safeguard the health of those with peanut allergies. Our work today is inspired by our start as product pioneers of the first and foremost delicious, nutritious nut-free spread."

SunButter PR asked I would like to try their SunButter Sunflower Seed Butter varieties. I was ecstatic! I haven't had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in decades (and truly thought that I would never have a pb&j ever again). SunButter sent a full-size sample in Chocolate, No Sugar Added, Creamy and Original. I've tried all four (4) and they are DELICIOUS! My favorite is the Creamy. You can see a picture of it below. It tastes just like the real thing! Whenever I need a quick chocolate fix, I reach for a spoonful of their Chocolate. It satisfies that chocolate craving we all get and is better for you. The Original and No Sugar Added are also very good. I love spreading them on various types of crackers. To see each SunButter Sunflower Seed Butter, please look at the Instagram video I made that showcases each. If you have an allergy, I would encourage you to try SunButter. You will be impressed. SunButter sunflower butter is free from the top food allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, eggs, wheat, fish, and crustacean shellfish. SunButter is GFCO certified gluten-free. All varieties of SunButter are vegan. SunButter is certified OU Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
